As soon as the HN application is released, the installation instructions will be published.

Installing the application

After you request the download link, you will receive an email with a link to download the application.

You can run the application by double‑clicking it.

Port forwarding

To become a node, your device needs to be accessible via the internet. Most users are behind a NAT router. To be reachable, you must set up what is called a “port forwarding rule.” The ports you need to forward depend on configurations within the HN application. Each router has a different method for setting up port forwarding rules, so you must configure this yourself, possibly with the help of your router’s supplier.
